There are no fees to you as a customer for paying by Danish credit cards, but we prefer payment with Dankort, MobilePay or Bank Transfer whenever possible. The money from your card is not captured until the order is shipped.
Communication between payment system and cardholder is via an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection which ensures that your card details will only be used in connection with that transaction. The card information is passed directly to NETS by ePay which is a secure payment solution certified by PCI. This means that the data you provide in connection with a purchase is only handled respectively by ePay and NETS. Neither SMARTparent nor others are able to read your credit card information.
You can also pay via bank transfer.

When using bank transfer, your order will be sent when the money is registered on the account so it may take a few extra days to receive your goods. Bank transfer is not officially covered by “indsigelsesordningen,” but we will attempt to deal with any issues or complaints in a fair manner.

We subsidise the shipping rate on all parcels to Denmark, so you will never pay more than this no matter what the size of your package.
For orders over 550,00 kr:
We offer free delivery to your local DAO pick up location for orders over 550,00 kr. You may upgrade this service to GLS or home delivery for an additional subsidized fee.
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive your items. You must notify us at: firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to cancel your purchase and return the item as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after notifying us.
Right of cancellation requires the items to be returned in the same condition and quantity as originally received. The right of cancellation will lapse if you use the items in a way which obviously reduces the sales value.
According to new legislation you now have the option to return a used item. This must be done within the legal return period. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from any handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods. In other words - you can handle the product in the same way as you would in a physical store, but you cannot use or wash it. The item must be returned with the original packaging. If the item has been handled beyond what is described above, it is considered used, which means that you will receive at most a portion of the purchase amount back, depending on the product's determined commercial value. SMARTparent will make a fair assessment of the diminished value of the product.
If you cancel the purchase, you must pay return postage. The item is your responsibility once you have received it and return shipments are safest when sent by insured parcel post.
You can cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the package, although it is not recommended because it takes more than a month to receive the item back. You will then be credited for the returned item/s value, less 100 kr.
If you receive free shipping with your order, and return a portion of the order which dips below the free shipping threshold then the original shipping cost will be charged from your refund.

When you cancel your purchase, the purchase price will be returned as soon as we have received the returned items and verified that it meets the rules for cancellation. Please provide your bank details and the order number to email@example.com.
Note: We do not receive packages sent COD.
We at SMARTparent understand that sometimes mistakes happen. If you purchase an item or items in the wrong color or size, you may return the item/s to us in new condition and in the original packaging. Return shipping is at cost to the customer; however, as a courtesy, SMARTparent will cover the shipping expense to send the replacement item/s back to you within Denmark.
When you purchase items you have a 24 month warranty. This means that you can either get an item repaired or replaced, get your money back or receive a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation and provided the complaint is justified and the defect is not caused by an incorrect use of the item or other injurious behavior. A deficiency is a mistake that has been present at the time of delivery - typically manufacturing and/or material defects. If a defect appears during the warranty period which is covered by the warranty, the item will be repaired or replaced. Damage to the product caused by operating errors, handling errors, modifications or misuse by the user are not covered under warranty. This warranty does not cover general wear and tear that occurs with repeated use of an item.
Please include a copy of the original invoice when you return items.
You must complain within "reasonable time" after discovering a defect. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the claim is always timely.
In connection with complaints, we defray reasonable return costs if justified, otherwise the cost is yours, but please contact us first at: firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make an agreement.

When we collect personal information through our online shop, we ensure that it will happen based on your explicit consent so that you will know exactly what information is collected and why, and the owners of SMARTparent are the only ones who have access to the information.
We do not store or transmit encrypted customer data. Information delivered to SMARTparent is not given or sold to any third parties and we do not record sensitive personal information.

We accept no liability for any printing errors, price errors, VAT and fee changes and delivery failures. We strive to accurately describe each product; however, colors are shown differently depending on your monitor setup, so the product may appear slightly different in person.
Agreement on the purchase of goods is considered binding once we have received your payment via credit card or bank payment. Offers are valid until stock is exhausted. For some products there may not be a Danish instruction manual available, in which case it will be available in other EU languages.
